Jesus’ Big Glory Center (JBC) is a registered non-political, non-profit focused community based service organization set up with a mission to reach out children in a desperate plight notably orphans, vulnerable children and people living in crisis etc. take care, support and empower them in achieving their full individual potentials by providing education and vocational training to make them useful members of society. (Matthew 9:35-38, Matthew 14:13-21).
Jesus’ Big Glory Center (JBC) is a charity working organization to help relief and assist people in small villages in Uganda. Having grown up in Kampala City, on his first ever visit to Lwengo district in greater Masaka. In 2015 Pastor Wasswa Mukisa Matia the founder of Jesus' Big Glory Center (JBC) , he visited a small village called: Nabuyiki village, in Ngereko parish, Kisekka sub county, Lwengo district. As in(Luke4:16-19).
He witnessed a lot of malnutrition in young children who were going to school without breakfast and coming from families living hand to mouth, use of worn-out shelter and bedding materials, homelessness among the elderly, limited access to improved and quality nutrition improved medication and clean water.
He felt compelled to try and make a difference in these children’s lives and their families lives. From that moment on the idea of Jesus’ Big Center (JBC) was conceived as a platform for tackling some of these community challenges collectively through committing monthly money subscriptions and sourcing all possible support from well-wishers and potential donors aiming at improving and transforming the beneficiary lives to pleasant living conditions. (John 10:10-21).
To reach out children in a desperate plight notably orphans, vulnerable children and people living in crisis etc. take care, support and empower them in achieving their full individual potentials by providing education and vocational training to make them useful members of society.(Ezekiel 37:1-28).
Giving hope, advancing and meaning to the vulnerable people in the society with a holistic approach in Education, Spiritual growth and Social development. (John 3:16).
The main purpose of the Organization is to take care of orphans, elderly people, the underprivileged children, Widows, elderly people, teenage mother, school dropout and those at risk of dropping out of school, youth and vulnerable children.
We aim to provide these services for the underprivileged children in the children’s home (JBC Foundation Church & Home) and around the community, providing food to the Elderly people, providing essential needs, Vocational skilling the widows, teenage mothers, school dropouts and providing counselling & providing sponsorships for those at risk of dropping out of school, in order to make them useful members of society .(John 14:1-3).
